[random] THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH

*This article is related to books.

I love middle grade books, they are always full of sunshine and warm fillings even when its grim subject in question, and I have yet to encounter a book or an author i dislike in this genre.
Thought i don't know how to review them properly (that's why i never do - i don't think the amount of sarcasm i posses is appropriate for a children's book) i read them A LOT.

[random] YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE

*This article is related to books.

I know i always rave about Maggie Stiefvater and how awesome she is (because she is pretty awesome you guys) but I'm never that loud about Holly Black and i love her much the same, or Lish McBride who i think is the most under-appreciated author in YA genre nowadays.
This (that follow) are all books I've read on a whim that caught me off guard, all the authors that surprised me with their with and writing style and are now my favorite reads of all time.

[teaser/review] DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE SERIES BY LAINI TAYLOR

Even if you haven’t read this series you've heard people raving about the awesomeness of it.
I thought of writing a review – I have so much to say: about the world building, about the characters, about the writing… but everything I would writhe it will be just fancy phrasing of the ultimate conclusion that THIS WAS F***ING AWESOME.

So instead of repeating what other people already said ill just show you three of my favorite teaser-quotes from this series (one for each book) with a hope that they will entice you into reading it sooner.

[review] STEELHEART BY BRANDON SANDERSON

Book: Steelheart
Series: (Reckoners #1)
Author: Brandon Sanderson
Rating:

There are no heroes.
Ten years ago, Calamity came. It was a burst in the sky that gave ordinary men and women extraordinary powers. The awed public started calling them Epics. But Epics are no friend of man. With incredible gifts came the desire to rule. And to rule man you must crush his wills.
Nobody fights the Epics... nobody but the Reckoners. A shadowy group of ordinary humans, they spend their lives studying Epics, finding their weaknesses, and then assassinating them.
And David wants in. He wants Steelheart—the Epic who is said to be invincible. The Epic who killed David's father. For years, like the Reckoners, David's been studying, and planning—and he has something they need. Not an object, but an experience.
He's seen Steelheart bleed. And he wants revenge.
