So... Where do I start?
I am not sure if  you noticed but Jasna bailed on me and I was left managing this blog on my own for the last 8 mounts.

And i did good for a while.
Its a lot of hard work I tell yah, especially for someone as disorganized as i am (also I'm very easily destructed, i might turn-on my computer with the intend to write on the blog and end up playing games on facebook all night).

If you've read even one book of Leigh Bardugo's Grisha Trilogy you know that is strongly influenced by Russian culture.
Me, personally, i love Russia. Such a strange county. Its history is gruesome as much as magical and they have the most un-ordinary church on the most violent place.

So here that fallows are two things that my mind always flashes upon whenever Russia is mentioned.

So as much as i find it fun to read contemporary romance in YA genre. i rarely find any book that surprises me and catches me of guard. That is because this genre sticks to a particular formula for developing plots and rarely diverts from it. But i like the consistency of it. Sometimes you need to depend on a book to delivers exactly what you need at the moment, without surprises and without unpleasantries.

I love middle grade books, they are always full of sunshine and warm fillings even when its grim subject in question, and I have yet to encounter a book or an author i dislike in this genre.
Thought i don't know how to review them properly (that's why i never do - i don't think the amount of sarcasm i posses is appropriate for a children's book) i read them A LOT.

I know i always rave about Maggie Stiefvater and how awesome she is (because she is pretty awesome you guys) but I'm never that loud about Holly Black and i love her much the same, or Lish McBride who i think is the most under-appreciated author in YA genre nowadays.
This (that follow) are all books I've read on a whim that caught me off guard, all the authors that surprised me with their with and writing style and are now my favorite reads of all time.

Books into movies is extremely popular subject nowadays. Especially YA literature is butchered left and right by producer, directors, actors... But no matter how bad some of them turn up, i always go the see the next!
